  • "What a wonderful way to meet other women riders and do it for a cause.  Look forward to joining you again next year and hope the weather is warmer."
    Margaret

  • “What an amazing and awesome experience to have the opportunity to participate in such an event!!!"
    ~ Pam Mills

  • “I did it . . . I came in 1st place for raising the most money for Jerry's kids for the 2nd Annual Harley Davidson Women's ride for MDA. I topped out at $4100. I want to extend my thanks again to everyone that donated money to MDA. I could have not done it without everyone of you. We are sending 5 kids to camp this summer. What a great feeling!"
~ Brenda Kwiatkowski – Omond Beach, FL

  • "This was my first MDA ride...but it won't be my last...can't wait til next year..it was just a great experience."
~ Linda Kersey – Middleburg, FL

  • "I just can't say thank you enough for such a wonderful experience.  I rode last year and I got tears in my eyes as we rode through town.    It is just a great feeling to be a part of this and to feel like we are making a difference for these children.  The ride itself was just awesome, meeting Karin Davidson and the Harley folks and everyone from MDA was really great.  I met women from all over the country and some that I had ridden next to last year that remembered me."
~ Wanda Underhill – Orange Park, FL

  • "Myself and ten other women from the Old Town HOG Chapter (Brandon, FL) took part in the event this year.  This is such an exciting event and always gives me goose bumps.  It is not the longest or largest ride I have ever been on, but riding with that many women all on Harleys is a sight to behold.  We are enjoying the freedom of the road on the best damn motorcycle period!"
~ Debbie Speicher - Brandon, FL

  • "It was an honor and the most memorable experience to ride in the Harley-Davidson Women's Ride in Daytona. We left with a cold front arriving at our home in central Texas and rode with it over 1200 miles.  The sun came out and the wind let up for a beautiful day to ride with over 500 women for a great cause."
~ Laura Goldenschue – Bluffton, Texas

  • "I’m writing you because I’m riding in the Daytona Women’s Ride AND I’m a part of the MDA family. My husband died of ALS (Lou Gehrig ’s disease) 11 years ago. You may not know this, but ALS is one of 43 different diseases that MDA covers.

I started driving a street bike just after my husband passed away. I think one of the reasons I liked to ride at the time was because the wind blew the tears off my face. Until I turned 41, riding motorcycles meant dirt bikes or back seat on my husband’s bike.

After my husband died of ALS, I missed cruising. I quickly learned the proper way to pick up a bike. My feet barely reached the ground and I turned it over several times when I stopped in a spot that wasn’t level.
Everyone in the community thought that I had lost my mind but I ignored their discouraging remarks and just listened to that "Why, sure you can!" ringing in my ears. Eleven years later I am getting my very first Harley, on Valentine's Day, our wedding anniversary, to ride in the HD/MDA Women's Ride."
