PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa., May 9, 2008 - Final totals are in, and funds raised at last weekend's Ride for Life XXI set a new record: $1,122,413 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, ride officials announced today.
Over 1,900 motorcyclists from participated in the May 3-4 ride which is put on by the Eastern Harley-Davidson Dealers Association (EHDDA) - a group of dealers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia - and benefits MDA. Riders raise money and rode to Pennsylvania's Hersehypark and Hollywood Casino at Penn National in Grantville for a huge celebration that included two days of fun, food and activities.

New for 2008 was the World’s Largest Fundraising Poker Run to benefit MDA.
Poker Run Winners Include:
George Key, from Haymarket, Va. won the 2008 Harley-Davidson XLH 883 Black Sportster. The winning hand was drawn by Melinda DeFriese from Auburn, Pa. followed by Malinda Carroll from Lebanon, Pa. and Victor Spangler from York, Pa. who each won cash prizes.
The Motorcycle Club with the most participants was Deer Lake H.O.G from Orwigsburg, Pa., with 193 members taking part. The dealership whose participants came the farthest distance for the event was Harley-Davidson of Ocean City located 250 miles away in Maryland.
